TCP Connect Problem
I am trying to make a connection with a websocket but it does not seem to work.
As mentioned by Ruri i have upgraded request from HTTPS to WSS but still it won't connect to the host?
At first i thought this might be an issue on the server side but when i tried the same host over at websock(.)org/echo.html
The connection worked without any kind of problem
My question here is am i missing something at this point?
Thanks a lot
your host is wrong
the host would be developer.mozilla.org for that url
Hey Thanks a lot for replying
So this would be my Websocket
do i have to insert developer.mozilla.org somewhere in here?
Again thanks it means a lot
i think the host is supposed to be api.simperium.com
because its simperium socket
can open connection using this host: wss://api.simperium.com/sock/1/chalk-bump-f49/websocket
But when i use api.simperium.com/sock/1/chalk-bump-f49/websocket in OB, always says 'No such host is known'
yes the one was an example for the url from the site i referenced
it should be api.simperium.com for you
btw did you check their api site?
maybe you could use that for the stuff you want to do
Thanks i understood what you meant and it worked fine.
Now For the Send stage i have this data
Now Sending this as it is on websockets(.)org/Echo.html works fine and it gives response.
But same when i send in OB block gives 400 bad request.
is there some syntax here to it?
@Abdullah346 sry i dont know much about tcp but i think you are missing your headers and dont forget to write
\r\nat the end which is also written down in the tcp send action block
read the answer in the bottom thats how he send his message through tcp so that you have an example
On my own experience, I don't think it's really possible to connect to a WSS via the TCP connection provided in OB
I will fix wss in OB2, don't worry guys it's coming ^_^
